ISLAMABAD: Petrol prices in Pakistan are anticipated to see a significant drop following a decrease in global oil prices by $5 per barrel.

As reported in the media, the price of petrol is expected to be cut by Rs20 per litre, with diesel prices decreasing by Rs16 per litre, starting from November 1.

Petroleum sales in Pakistan decline by 34% due to high prices

Earlier, the caretaker government had lowered the cost of petrol by Rs40 per litre in view of the decline in global oil prices and the strengthening of Pakistani rupee against US dollar.

However, due to the tension in the Middle East, oil prices are continuously increasing in the global market.
