PCB chief boosts morale of players

COLOMBO: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Zakaa Ashraf met with Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam and other players after a drubbing at the hands of India.

Ashraf boosted the morale of the players saying victory and defeat are part of the game and they should not lose hope.

“Learn from mistakes and demonstrate better performance in the upcoming matches. What’s done is done; now, focus on the next matches,” he told the players reposing full confidence in all players.

He believed that the players have the capability to win the Asia Cup. “You have been consistently winning, and you will continue to do so,” Ashraf said.

Babar Azam said: “We will strive to win the next matches, give our 100%. We are focused on the Asia Cup and we will definitely succeed.”
