ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has released passports of two agents of Indian intelligence agency, RAW, who were allegedly involved in orchestrating the killing of Pakistan citizens.
According to a press release issued here, RAW agents Ashok Kumar Anand and Yogesh Kumar planned and financed terrorist activities and target killings in Pakistan.
The alleged India agents hired the assasins against the killing of Pakistani citizens in a third country.
Pakistan’s security agencies said that Ashok Kumar Anand and Yogesh Kumar were directly involved in the killings of Pakistani citizens Muhammad Riaz and Shahid Latif.
Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies arrested the facilitators and target killers at a time when they were trying to flee from Pakistan.
Muhammad Riaz was killed on September 8, 2023 in Rawalakot while Shahid Latif was killed on October 11, 2023 in Daska by the target killers.
According to Pakistani security agencies, Muhammad Riaz and Shahid Latif were peaceful citizens and their only fault was that they exposed the ongoing oppression and barbarism in Kashmir and the disgusting face of India.
The security agencies said that India has killed various innocent people in terrorist activities in Pakistan and other countries in violation of international laws.
A short while ago, Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi said that India is conducting a “sophisticated and sinister” campaign involving “extra-territorial and extra-judicial killings” within Pakistan.
Addressing a press briefing in Islamabad, Qazi said, “We have credible evidence of the links between Indian agents and the assassination of two Pakistani nationals on Pakistani soil.”
He further said that these killings were part of “higher cases” and implicated a “sophisticated international set-up spread over multiple jurisdictions.”
Qazi detailed how Indian agents utilized technology and safe havens on foreign soil to carry out assassinations in Pakistan.
According to him, they recruited, financed, and supported criminals, terrorists, and unsuspecting civilians to play defined roles in these assassinations.
