Nawaz Sharif returning under ‘judicial asylum’: PTI

Nawaz Sharif Jalsa Lahore

LAHORE: In response to Nawaz Sharif’s return, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson launched a scathing critique and labelled the former Prime Minister a “cowardly fugitive” who is returning under the guise of “judicial asylum”, calling this strategy the so-called ‘London plan’.

The spokesperson accused the state of forsaking values such as “shame, modesty, law, and justice” in facilitating the return of what they termed a “national criminal.”

Highlighting what they referred to as a ‘regime change conspiracy’, the spokesperson suggested that the alleged removal of the PTI chairman was the primary factor behind the economic challenges Pakistan currently faces.

The spokesperson also emphasised the importance of holding accountable those who have allegedly plundered the nation for generations, indicating a lack of accountability within the courts.

In conclusion, the spokesperson proposed that holding immediate, transparent, free, and fair elections could provide a solution to Pakistan’s problems.
