ISLAMABAD: TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala has alleged that social media personality Dr Affan Qaiser was behind the arrest of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as “Ducky Bhai”.
He said the arrest involved contacts and information that were passed to authorities through specific individuals.
Speaking on a programme, Nadeem Nani Wala said that National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) officials offered him an alleged deal through Dr Affan Qaiser.
He claimed that Qaiser provided information on the basis of which action was taken against Ducky Bhai and that this led to his arrest.
He further alleged that Qaiser shared details of Ducky Bhai’s financial matters with NCCIA Additional Director Chaudhry Sarfaraz and created the impression that Ducky Bhai was the main financial beneficiary.
He said that in this context alleged “deals” were also sent to Sistrology — a YouTube channel run by Iqra Kanwal and her sisters — as well as to himself.
The TikToker said that he had evidence against Qaiser which would be made public at an appropriate time.
He alleged that Qaiser used situations for personal benefit and presented matters in a religious context, and said strict action should be taken.
He also alleged that Qaiser had previously run negative campaigns against several well-known Pakistani YouTubers to gain views on social media.
The statements triggered renewed debate on social media about the case, with users awaiting possible legal developments and comments from authorities.
HUM News English could not independently verify the allegations. Dr Affan Qaiser and the NCCIA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
