Usman Dar quits party after levelling serious allegations against PTI chairman
Earlier, PTI leader Usman Dar, surfaced in Lahore and appeared on a private TV channel where he claimed that a planning for the events that led to the May 9 incidents was orchestrated under the leadership of the PTI chairman at his Zaman Park residence.
Talking to Dunya News, Dar alleged that the PTI chairman himself issued directives to target sensitive installations.
Dar alleged that PTI members like Hamad Azhar, Murad Saeed, Azam Swati, and Farrukh Habib were anti-military. They were also close to the PTI chairman, who directed the policy of confronting the military.
He said that a decision was taken that sensitive installations would be targeted in case the PTI chairman was arrested.
Dar stated the PTI’s long march in October 2022 aimed at stopping the appointment of Gen Asim Munir as the army chief and exert pressure on the army to remove him.
