Mandatory Hajj 2026 training to begin today across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The first phase of mandatory training for Hajj 2026 pilgrims will commence from Islamabad on January 1 (today), the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced on Tuesday.
According to the spokesperson for Religious Affairs, the training schedule is being communicated to registered pilgrims through the mobile application “Pak Hajj 2026” as well as via SMS. The complete schedule is also available on the official website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
As per the announced plan, training programs will be held in Abbottabad on January 2, followed by sessions in Ghotki, Thatta, and Kotli (Azad Kashmir) on January 3. On January 4, pilgrims will receive training in Mirpur (Azad Kashmir), Tando Muhammad Khan, and Khairpur (Sindh).
Training camps are scheduled for January 5 in Rawalakot, Badin, and Nowshera Feroze, while pilgrims from Fateh Jang, Dadu, and Tharparkar (Mithi) and surrounding areas will be trained on January 6. Sessions will be held in Umerkot, Larkana, and Haripur on January 7, followed by programs in Mirpur Khas, Shahdad Kot, and Mansehra on January 8.
The spokesperson said that one-day Hajj training programs will continue in phases at the tehsil level across the country until February.
Pilgrims have been advised to bring their original national identity card and the computerized receipt of their Hajj application to the training venue. Attendance at the one-day training program, according to the allotted schedule, is mandatory for all Hajj 2026 pilgrims, the spokesperson added.
