Kim Kardashian ‘defeated’ after ‘worst year yet’ as finding love feels impossible: report

Kim Kardashian is reportedly hoping for a reset in 2026 after what has been described as the “worst year” of her life, with sources claiming the reality star feels exhausted, overwhelmed and uncertain about finding love again.

According to reports, the Skims founder has struggled through a demanding year that left her feeling “defeated”, both emotionally and mentally. Those close to Kardashian are said to believe the past 12 months pushed her to a breaking point, as she balanced motherhood, work pressures and personal setbacks.

One of the most significant blows reportedly came from her latest attempt to pass the California bar exam, which sources described as a major hit to her confidence. Kardashian has spent years pursuing a legal career alongside her businesses and television commitments, making the setback particularly difficult.

The report also points to ongoing challenges in her personal life, especially co-parenting her four children with ex-husband Kanye West. While Kardashian has repeatedly said her children come first, sources suggested the emotional strain of co-parenting added to what has already been a draining year.

Since her 2022 divorce, Kardashian has been linked to several high-profile figures, including Pete Davidson, Odell Beckham Jr. and Tom Brady. However, reports claim she now questions whether she has the time, energy or flexibility for another serious relationship.

Sources said Kardashian has increasingly buried herself in work, privately wondering whether finding long-term love is realistic given her responsibilities, routine and stage of life.

Despite the bleak tone of the report, another source told US media that Kardashian is deliberately choosing to remain single for now, focusing instead on herself and her family rather than dating.
