Kasuri’s daughter-in-law joins PPP in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Amina Wattoo Kasuri, the daughter-in-law of former foreign minister Mehmud Kasuri, has officially become a member of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

She met with PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House in Lahore, where she expressed her confidence in the leadership of former President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto.

Asif Zardari warmly welcomed Amina Kasuri, who showed her support for PPP by wearing a party-themed muffler.

Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani also attended the occasion of Amina Kasuri’s meeting with Asif Zardari.

Notably, Amina Wattoo Kasuri is the daughter of the former Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Manzoor Wattoo.

While her father in Law Mehmud Kasuri currently holds the position of Senior Advisor on Political and International Affairs and serves as the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Task Force on Kashmir.

He is also a member of the Core Committee of the Party.
