Justin Timberlake arrested for driving while drunk


HAMPTONS: Justin Timberlake was arrested for driving drunk in New York on Tuesday.

According to the local police department, Timberlake was observed operating his BMW carin an intoxicated condition around midnight. The “Cry Me a River” singer allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and maintain his car in a single proper lane.

The made an officer suspicious, who made the singer stop his car. The officer noted Timberlake’s bloodshot and glassy eyes, along with a strong odour of alcohol on his breath.

Meanwhile, Justin informed officers that he had consumed one martini and was following his friends home.

The singer was compelled to undergo a breathalyzer test, which he reportedly failed. Timberlake refused to undergo a chemical test three times.

Frustrated, the police officer eventually arrested the singer, who spent the night in custody before being released without bail following an arraignment.

Britney Spears’ infamous ex has a court appearance scheduled for July 26 to address charges of driving while intoxicated, running a stop sign, and failure to maintain his lane.

The incident occurred shortly after Timberlake celebrated Father’s Day with his family, sharing heartfelt sentiments and photos of his two sons. His wife, Jessica Biel, honoured him as the family’s “rock” in an Instagram post.

Coincidentally, on the same day as Timberlake’s arrest, Biel was filming her new TV show, ‘The Better Sister,’ in New York City. The crime thriller adaptation of Alafair Burke’s novel stars Biel alongside Elizabeth Banks and Corey Stoll.
