ISLAMABAD: Commuters in the federal capital are advised to plan their travel carefully, as traffic diversions will be enforced on several major routes on Thursday from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

The Srinagar Highway, Club Road, and Express Highway will be temporarily affected during this hour, as authorities implement measures to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety. Citizens are encouraged to use alternative routes, including Jinnah Avenue, Ninth Avenue, Seventh Avenue, and inner-city service roads.

Motorists are advised to allow an additional 20 to 25 minutes for their journeys to avoid delays. Officers from the Islamabad Traffic Police will be deployed at key points to facilitate road users and manage traffic efficiently.

This afternoon update follows earlier traffic advisories issued for the city, including temporary diversions on Srinagar Highway at Zero Point and Garden Avenue Express Highway from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The traffic authorities continue to stress that planning ahead and using alternate routes can prevent unnecessary congestion.

For real-time updates or assistance, commuters can contact the Traffic Helpline at 1915 or the emergency service Pukar 15.
