Imran Khan ‘refuses’ to meet Sher Afzal Marwat

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Tuesday refused to meet party leader and member of National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal Marwat.

According to Jang News, Sher Afzal Marwat arrived at the conference room inside Adiala Jail, where he was scheduled to meet the PTI founder. However, Imran Khan refused to meet him.

Sher Afzal Marwat has said that there is no truth to the reports of PTI founder refusing to meet him.

He mentioned that today, he wasn’t among the six PTI leaders scheduled to meet the founder. He indicated that his meeting with Imran Khan is set for tomorrow.

Earlier on Monday, rejected the party’s political committee’s decision to replace him with Sheikh Waqas Akram as the candidate for the chairmanship of the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
