During the proceedings, Khosa argued that the ongoing court case would be adversely affected if the FIA continued its investigation. The FIA had requested Bushra Bibi’s cooperation for a voice-matching test.
Justice Sattar inquired about the purpose of the voice-matching test and why the FIA needed it. Khosa stated that they had received information from the SSP that the FIA required voice matching.
Bushra Bibi had been summoned for the voice-matching procedure on Friday at 12 o’clock. The court has suspended the FIA’s summons to Bushra Bibi and scheduled arguments for the parties in the coming week.
Meanwhile, in the audio leaks case, the Islamabad High Court expressed dissatisfaction with the Ministry of Interior and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) initial written response and directed them to submit a detailed response.
