FPSC releases CSS 2026 regular date sheet

WEB DESK: In an important update for aspiring civil servants, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially released the regular date sheet for the CSS 2026 examination, giving candidates clarity on the schedule of the competitive exam.

According to the schedule, the written exams will commence on February 4, 2026. The first paper will be English Essay, followed by Precis & Composition on February 5. The General Knowledge papers are set for February 6, 7, and 8.

The Comparative Studies of Religions paper will be held on February 9, 2026, with Islamic Studies for Muslim candidates and Comparative Religion for non-Muslims. Optional subject examinations will take place from February 10 to 15, conducted in morning and evening sessions across different groups.

The FPSC has reminded all candidates to carefully follow the date sheet, examination centre instructions, and roll number slips to ensure a smooth exam process.

This announcement provides candidates a clear roadmap to plan their preparation and manage time effectively for one of Pakistan’s most competitive examinations.
