COLOMBO: The England vs Sri Lanka clash saw the touring team producing a dominant batting display to post a mammoth 357 for 3 against Lions in the third and deciding ODI clash. During their batting, the unbeaten Joe Root and Harry Brook each played havoc with their bat, scoring 111 off 108 and 136 deliveries, respectively.
The ENG VS SL final match began with a strong confidence-in-team showed by both the rivals’ skippers earlier.
England went to take the advantage of the first batting, after their team winning the toss in the most crucial ENG VS SL ODI match.

Batting first, the team sent their top order batters, Rehan Ahmed and Ben Duckett in the opening to provide some confidence to the team’s batters. Each batter added 24 and 7 respectively, giving hopes to the forthcoming players (Root and unbeaten Brook).

The first-opted batting by England also saw Jacob Bethell in stylish addition. He added 65 (featured with 8 fours) to the team’s total, bringing the increase up to 343 massive. The England team by then were able to post 357 for three after the hosts’s bowlers conceded 14 in extras.

This 357-run massive has been giving the forthcoming batting line (Lions XI) a rare 10 per cent winning probability. However, a ruthless assault against the touring team can change the fat for the hosts team.
