Eight terrorists killed, two soldiers martyred during Gwadar port attack: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: At least eight terrorists were killed after they forcibly attempted to enter the Gwadar Port Authority Complex on Wednesday evening.

According to a press release issued by the army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces promptly responded and thwarted the entry attempt, effectively stopping the terrorists.

According to the ISPR, due to the timely action by the security forces, all eight terrorists were killed, and a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials were recovered from their possession.

The ISPR said that in the exchange of fire, two brave soldiers of the security forces were also martyred, who were identified as Bahar Khan and Imran Ali.

“The security forces are determined to foil any attempts to sabotage peace and stability in the province,” the ISPR said.

According to sources, the eight terrorists who attacked the complex were affiliated with the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
