Devin Booker: Kendall Jenner’s ex exits Lakers game with injury

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was ruled out of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after sustaining a right groin injury, the team said.

Booker played the first 10 minutes of the opening quarter before being subbed out with Phoenix trailing 27-26. He had already scored 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting, adding 3 assists and 2 rebounds.

The guard entered the matchup having played all 21 of the Suns’ games so far this season, leading the team in both points (25.7) and assists (6.9).

Despite his early exit, Phoenix pushed ahead, outscoring the Lakers 35-21 in the second quarter to lead 66-52 at halftime. They went on to secure a 125-108 win.

Booker, 29, previously dated Kendall Jenner. The pair were together on and off between 2020 and 2023 and attended several high-profile NBA and events before ending their relationship. They have both moved on privately, although their former relationship continues to be part of Booker’s public profile.

The Suns are now 13-9 under first-year coach Jordan Ott and sit at No. 7 in the Western Conference.
