Dense fog, smog likely to persist in Islamabad and Punjab tonight

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted the persistence of fog in Islamabad, the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh tonight (Wednesday).

According to the Met department, fog is predicted in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, and other cities within the aforementioned provinces.

The Meteorological Department forecasts that dense fog in affected areas will result in exceptionally cold weather.
