London: Crystal Palace have reportedly agreed to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Brennan Johnson for $47 million, however, the Premier League’s ninth-ranked have yet to give final approval for the deal.
The 24-year-old Tottenham player has scored 27 goals in 107 appearances and was part of the Europa League final-winning squad.
Crystal Palace, captained by Marc Guéhi, have intensified its discussions with the Tottenham winger over the past 24 hours. Other Premier League clubs, including 15th-placed Bournemouth, are also reportedly interested in signing Johnson.
Johnson joined Tottenham in September 2023 after a £47.5 million transfer from Nottingham Forest, where he had spent 14 years. The forward, who wears the number 22 shirt, has made just six Premier League starts this season under new manager Thomas Frank, playing on both flanks after his position was taken by Mohamed Kudus, who joined in a £55 million deal from West Ham.
In total, Johnson has played 20 games across all competitions for Tottenham, scoring 27 goals in 107 matches for the club.
