Actor Chase Stokes and singer Kelsea Ballerini have confirmed they are back together, months after quietly parting ways in 2025.

Stokes shared the update on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a series of intimate photos that signalled the couple’s reconciliation as the new year began. The images showed the pair embracing and spending time together, marking their first public confirmation since their split.

In a reflective caption, Stokes described 2026 as a reset, writing about accountability, growth and choosing love more intentionally. He framed the year ahead as one focused on truth and personal development, closing the message with a New Year’s greeting.

Ballerini echoed the sentiment shortly after, addressing the reunion on her Instagram Stories. She described the past year as “messy for the heart” but made it clear she still believes in love, personal growth and “breaking patterns”. She also urged fans to stop speculating, signalling a desire to move forward privately.

The couple’s reunion follows a brief separation after nearly three years together. Stokes and Ballerini split in September 2025, choosing not to publicly discuss the reasons at the time.

Their relationship first came to public attention in January 2023, when Stokes shared a photo of the pair together at the Georgia vs TCU national championship game. They later confirmed their romance and became a regular presence on red carpets and at industry events.

Over the next two years, Ballerini occasionally spoke about finding stability and support in the relationship, particularly following her highly publicised divorce from fellow country singer Morgan Evans. Stokes, meanwhile, largely kept details of his personal life private.

News of their split last year surprised fans, with both opting to remain low-key in the months that followed. Ballerini later hinted at a period of emotional reflection, while Stokes stayed largely out of the spotlight.
