PTI chief’s bail rejected in seven cases

LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore Friday rejected the interim bail applications of Chairman PTI in seven cases.

ATC Lahore Judge Ijaz Butar heard PTI Chairman’s interim bail applications in seven cases related to May 9 incidents including the ransacking and vandalism of Jinnah House.

Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore had accepted PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s application for one-day exemption from appearance, and also extended his interim bail till August 11 in at least five cases of May 9 vandalism.

On Friday Salman Safdar, Chairman PTI’s counsel requested the court for an extension in interim bail for his client.

After hearing the arguments of the parties, the anti-terrorism court judge rejected the PTI chairman’s interim bail pleas in the seven cases.
