LONDON: Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who gained attention on social media worldwide for his humorous singing, was pelted with eggs during a public event in England.
The incident took place at a “Paratha Stop” gathering in London.
Eyewitnesses said that fans were taking pictures with him when a few individuals suddenly started throwing eggs at the internet sensation. Footage of the incident has since gone viral.
Khan, who rose to fame for his distinctive singing style and viral internet videos, has been attending multiple events in the UK to meet his fans. However, the incident has cast a shadow over his overseas appearances.
The news has also gone viral on social media, with some users calling the incident unfortunate while others made sarcastic remarks, linking it to the singer’s growing popularity.
In June 2024, YouTube had deleted Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s viral song ‘Bado Badi’ due to copyright claims.
Chahat Fateh Khan had uploaded his song “Bado Badi” on his official YouTube channel, which quickly gained immense popularity not just in Pakistan, but also in India.
Khan’s song not only trended on YouTube but also on other social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, amassing over 27 million views.
Later, the YouTube channel has deleted Chahat Fateh Khan Bado Bedi due to copyright issues.
Pakistani singer Malika Taranum Noorjehan had originally performed the song “Akh Ladi Bado Badi” for the 1973 film ‘Banarasee Thug’.
