Aviation ministry website hacked

ISLAMABAD: The Aviation Ministry’s website faced two cyber-attacks within the span of a few hours on Wednesday, causing it to go offline temporarily.

In the first attack, a foreign message appeared, but the IT team quickly restored the site.

However, a second attack left the website down again, and despite efforts, it hasn’t been fixed till now.

Hackers steal data of millions of Pakistanis from software used in restaurants

The website now lacks its previous records.

This incident follows a trend of government websites, including the Supreme Court’s, being targeted by cyber-attacks earlier this year.
