ANP’s Sher Wali Baghi shot dead in Bannu

BANNU: Awami National Party (ANP) local leader Sher Wali Baghi was shot dead when unknown armed motorcyclists sprayed bullets at at him on Dera Ismail Khan road near Engineering Univesity in Bannu, according to Police.

As a result of the firing on Tuesday, Baghi was killed on the spot.

Meanwhile the attackers were successful in fleeing from the scene where a heavy contingent of police and rescue personnel reached shortly.

The body was shifted to Distrcit Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.

Sher Wali Baghi was organiser of Awami National Party in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Police has registered a case and started investigations. -INP
