Action has also been initiated against CDA employees and senior officers involved in this major scheme. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) investigation team has also registered a case against seven government employees, including four officers.
The government treasury incurred a loss of Rs.1 billion due to illegal and fraudulent transfers in Islamabad’s sectors 15 and 12. As per the filed FIRs, certain CDA employees unlawfully allotted 62 plots of 6 marlas in sector I-15 and 11 plots, collectively worth Rs50 million. This has resulted in an estimated loss of approximately Rs1.5 billion for the CDA.
The FIA had set up inquiry number 53/2023 on the reference of the Establishment Division on October 11, 2023, regarding this corruption. Action has been initiated against the officers and three patwaris and tehsildars allegedly involved in the scheme.

CDA officials have said that the senior officers have been sent back to their departments and the patwaris and tehsildars have also been removed from their posts. The officials further said that action against the officers has been initiated with the approval of the Establishment Division.
