All Sharifs get clean chit from all Institutions

ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz and Maryam Nawaz Sharif have been given a complete blank slate from all the state institutions.

According to official documents obtained by Hum Investigation Team, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Anti-Corruption Punjab, Punjab police, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the State Bank have all given clearance to the four members of the Sharif family to contest elections. Nawaz Sharif, Shehba, Hamza and Maryam Nawaz Sharif are among those who were cleared to contest elections freely.

According to a letter issued by the NAB, all four PML-N leaders do not have any pending case with the accountability bureau.

The letter from NAB was written to the PML-N lawyer, Attaullah Tarar, who submitted these documents with the returning officer (RO).

All ROs have received similar letters from the NAB, Anti-Corruption Punjab, FIA, IG Police Punjab, FBR and the State Bank.

The letter from the FIA reads that there is no criminal record of any of the Sharif family members. Therefore, the agency has cleared them of any criminal charges.

Similarly, the State Bank letter states that there is no record of any default by either of the parties concerned. The FBR letter similar states that neither of the 4 party is a tax defaulter.

The Punjab Police lalso wrote that there is no criminal case against Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz or Maryam Nawaz with them.

Anti-Corruption Punjab’s letter declares that there is no record of any criminal case against the former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif.

The NAB letter however does mention that there is an ongoing investigation against Maryam Nawaz in Chaudhry sugar mills case. Investigation is also ongoing against Nawaz Sharif in six high profile cases, including Chaudhry sugar mills, Sharif Trust, LDA Plots, Toshakhana, land acquisition and funds for private visits pulled from the national exchequer is under investigation
