UAE registered the first century in 14th over of their innings. However, they lost their second wicket, Asif Khan, as well after jerked the ongoing target for only 2 off 5 balls.

UAE began solid innings by sending top batters Sharafu and Waseem in to the opening. Both players contributed an impressive 88 partnership, but Sharafu was downed for 51 off 38 by Ramanandi in the 12th over.
