WEB DESK: Unhealthy obsessions are not new for Pakistanis and projecting them on celebrities appear to be even more necessary. A new target for this is Waqar Zaka, who usually is in news for all the wrong reasons, but this time round, the engineer turned VJ, was spotted clubbing in London, gone in a trance on Imran Khan’s popular number ‘Bewafa’. The Living On The Edge host could be seen with his eyes shut making his show’s sign followed by a triangle using his hands, which is often associated with the cult movement of ‘Illuminati’.

Zaka also shook hands with the DJ of Bollywood Nights London as the song ended, but the comment section were filled with users accusing of being a cult member of Illuminati. Also this doesn’t stop at one shared video rather Zaka’s own Instagram feed is filled with similar accusations, even on videos where he is literally asking people to spread the good vibes.

Known for now mining and carving a name for himself in trading, in December 2022, a Karachi court also issued an arrest warrant after the FIA accused him of collecting money from people for crypto investments that later vanished.

Authorities claimed Zaka promoted fraudulent online schemes, while multiple court notices were ignored. Zaka, however, denied all allegations, insisting he only educates the public about cryptocurrency. The controversy had reignited debate over whether this is a genuine crypto fraud or another targeted campaign against the influencer.
