Gold prices remain stable

KARACHI: The gold prices in Pakistan remained stable on Monday with 24-karat gold trading at the rate of Rs228,200 per tola.

Dealers reported a similar trend in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, stands at Rs195,645.

Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also remained stable, trading at Rs179,341.

The price of 24-karat silver is currently standing at Rs2,580. Internationally, the gold price saw a minor rise of $2, reaching $2,187 per ounce.

These movements are closely linked to changes in the value of the US Dollar, indicating the close relationship between currency values and gold prices.
