NEW YORK CITY: CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD) faced a tumultuous period recently as its stock plummeted following a major technology outage triggered by a faulty security update.
A cybersecurity update released on July 19 was intended to improve system security but instead caused serious problems for millions of Windows devices globally.
